Houston, Harris County, Texas

Project Case Study:

Hollaway served as the environmental consultant for the five-year City of Houston -Houston Airport System Environmental Services Contract, which includes George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), and Ellington Airport (EFD).

Hollaway worked closely with the Houston Airport System to provide long-term project planning and feasibility of potential project plans and preparation of environmental constraints. Additional environmental services included Phase I ESAs, wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and reporting, and federal and state permitting (Clean Water Act Section 404/401 and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act) for more than 20 separate, concurrent infrastructure projects. Hollaway also regularly coordinated with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and facilitates compliance to ensure project success.

And, finally, Hollaway prepared and managed the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3) for the airport facilities to support compliance with the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) No. TXR050000. To ensure that all Houston Airport System employees, contractors, and tenants were in compliance with this TPDES permit, Hollaway produced specific training videos and facilitated in-person and virtual training sessions on behalf of the airport system.
